We have kick started by establishing relationships with organisations in these regions, creating an internationally connected community.
Located in the extreme North-West of Colombia and South America, La Guajira is a surprising territory full of culture and magical experiences. The dryness of this peninsula of 13,000 km2 means that economic development does not have the same speed as in other departments of the country, but this is not an obstacle, since its natural resources are of great importance and value: mineral coal, natural gas and sea salt. These activities represent approximately 70 percent of the economy, followed by the service sector, especially tourism. Destinations such as Cabo de la Vela, Punta Gallinas and Macuira, among others, are of recognized spiritual and cultural importance for the aboriginal culture of this region.
Mildura is a city located in the far north-western corner of Victoria, Australia on the banks of the Murray River. Nowadays, Mildura is a popular tourist destination and a bustling regional city in an area well noted for its warm and stable weather. It features wide, tree-lined streets and is surrounded by vast numbers of wineries and fruit growing farms. Local produce include most varieties of citrus, grapes, avocados and almonds. The quality of local produce and the growing wine industry have helped Mildura develop a reputation for great food and wine.
We welcome organisations across different regions of the world to join our growing community -together we can make a greater impact.
